One year of a relationship in a pandemic means that not much happened. We decide to rent a small condo in St-Sauveur. Even though the vacation is a success, Jean-Simon manages to forget the 1-year anniversary gift for Sabine.

We fly away on our first trip abroad together. Destination: Cuba.
While swimming, Sabine gets in a fight with a jelly fish and she loses.

Our first Valentine’s Day where we are both off work and school.
We treat ourselves to hockey game at the Bell Centre. It's 4-0 victory for the Canadiens!

Jean-Simon travels to the Gaspé for the first time.

Sabine and Jean-Simon finally move in together. Not too long after, they adopt their two furry babies.

Preparing a surprise proposal for someone who doesn't like surprises isn't easy... Jean-Simon enlists the help of Sabine's friends to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks to them, the engagement goes off with a bang!
In a little cottage in Saint-Côme (truly in the middle of nowhere... seriously, Google it!), Jean-Simon makes his big proposal. The moment seems right out of a fairy tale, despite the clumsiness of the camerawoman who, betrayed by her slippery socks, falls over before Sabine can even respond.
It's a beautiful moment we'll always remember!
